The Obama Report

In my humble opinion, Daniel Cowart and Paul Schlesselman - the two thugs arrested Monday in an alleged assassination plot against Barack Obama - should be punished to the full extent of the law!

Their intended crimes are no less serious than the crimes committed by Bill Ayers, the former 'Weather Underground' fugitive and Pentagon bomber.

Hence, I believe that these two thugs should receive the same kind of stiff sentence that Bill Ayers received for his despicable and heinous crimes. Namely, they should be required to perform countless hours of community service at the University of Illinois, teaching university students their own unique brand of "Social Justice".

However, unlike Mr. Ayers, who merely participated in the bombings of the Pentagon, the Capital building and the New York City Police headquarters, these two thugs were plotting a much more serious attack - they were targeting a US Presidential candidate - and they both should be punished accordingly.

Thus, I would recommend that as part of their sentence, they should both be prohibited from conducting any kind of political fundraisers in their homes. What's more, any politician who conducts a fundraiser in their homes or collaborates with them on any kind of educational project or who callously endorses a book written by one of them, should be officially barred from running for political office.

Now, I'm sure many of you are probably wondering what kind of politician, in his right mind, would endorse a book written by a couple of assassins or conduct a political meeting in their homes?

Well, I will concede to you that an upright politician like Barack Obama would probably never dream of such a thing. However, Senator Obama is the Messiah, and he's made of a different kind of cloth than the rest of us. But John McCain, well, he spent 5 years in the Hanoi Hilton paling around with Vietcong terrorists. I'm really not too sure about him.............
